It’s a really simple idea.
Taking something that most people take for granted – having pictures of themselves – and giving it to them for the first time.
Every day, over 350 million pictures are uploaded to Facebook. Yet, less than 35% of the world’s population use the Internet. Imagine never having had your picture taken. Never seeing what you looked like in a photo and not having any pictures as keepsake memories. We’re changing that, one photo at a time.
We travel to remote parts of the world where people have never had their photos taken – take their pictures, print them on the spot, and leave them behind in protective frames.
With their permission, we also upload the photos to our website along with GPS coordinates. Photo exhibitions, custom books and more will generate funds that will help the very people we photograph.
